People's Choice Awards 2021: Marvel stars Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston & Simu Liu win big

It was sweep for Marvel at the 2021 People's Choice Awards, with over 6 awards for MCU stars. Tom Hiddleston won the The Male TV Star of 2021 and the team of 'Loki' took home for The Show of 2021. 'Black Widow' bagged Best Movie of 2021 and Scarlett Johansson took home the Female Movie Star award for 'Black Widow'.

Simu Liu won the award for Best Show of 2021, and Marvel film, 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' starring him won for The Action Movie of 2021.

Among other key honours, Kim Kardashian received a Fashion Icon Award. Selena Gomez took home The Comedy Star of 2021 award for her performance in 'Only Murders in the Building'. In the music category, Adele was awarded the Female Artist of 2021.

But what caught the audience's attention was 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' actor Erika Jayne, who stood out with a very bizarre hairdo. She was on the red carpet rocking a studded black mini dress, and wrapped around her blonde locks was a straw-type bow. Call it edgy fashion or faux pas, fans sure had a lot to say about the look.

The People's Choice Awards honour the celebrate the best of music, movies, TV, and pop culture every year. This year the event was held in Santa Monica with actor and comedian Kenan Thompson as the host.
