'People won't forgive and forget': Mamata slams Centre over Covid deaths data

Accusing the Centre of not keeping a proper record of the people who died due to the Covid-19 in the country, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that those who lost their loved ones will not forgive and forget. 

Slamming the Centre for alleged mismanagement of the pandemic during the 2nd wave, the TMC supremo said that the dead were denied last rites and bodies were thrown into the Ganga river. 

She made the remarks while holding a meeting with TMC MPs in New Delhi

The Bengal chief minister is visiting the the national capital for the first time since TMC's comprehensive win in the assembly polls earlier this year.
