E-pharmacy startup PharmEasy has acquired peer Medlife for an undisclosed amount in a deal that skyrockets its position to number one as India's largest medicine delivery platform.

Dhaval Shah, co-founder of Pharmeasy, wrote on Linkedin that the acquisition will help the firm serve more than two million families each month.

As per the deal, Pharmeasy said that Medlife would discontinue its operations and would be merged with its own platform from May 25.

Customers and retail partners of Medlife would be brought onto the Pharmeasy platform.
