Sony’s PlayStation 5 console has begun receiving a major update that brings important new features.
PS5 users can now use their own PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD drives to upgrade the console’s storage capacity up to 4TB, as long as it meets the minimum speed and size requirements provided by Sony.

The PS5 now also supports 3D Audio for inbuilt speakers on TVs. The update also brings new social features like replying to messages from the Game Base, along with the ability to customise the Control Center.
Additionally, PS5 players who also own a PS4 console can now see their PS5 Trophies from the PS4.
