PM Modi's swipe at Pakistan: some countries 'use terrorism as political tool'

While addressing the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, M Modi said 'the danger of regressive thinking and extremism is also rising in the world'.

Hinting at Pakistan, PM Modi said some countries use terrorism as political tool.

Talking about the Afghan crisis, he stressed it is 'absolutely essential to ensure that Afghanistan's territory is not used to spread terrorism and for terrorist activities.'

PM Modi called for a broader global response against terrorism.
