PM Modi's lavish praise for Yogi's handling of Covid pandemic in UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday heaped lavish praises on UP CM Yogi Adityanath for his handling of Covid pandemic in the state.

He lauded Yogi's Covid efforts as "commendable" and "unprecedented" and praised UP for being the top state in vaccinations and Covid testing.

The Prime Minister visited his parliamentary constituency Varanasi to inaugurate projects worth around Rs 744 crore. He also laid the foundation stones of several projects and public works worth about Rs 839 crore.

Earlier, even minor problems assumed monstrous proportions due to the shortage of health facilities and the lack of willpower, he said.

PM Modi also inaugurated the International Cooperation and Convention Centre, Rudrakash, which has been constructed with Japanese assistance.
