Porn case: Raj Kundra arrested as he refused to cooperate, cops tell court

The Mumbai Police has justified the arrest of businessman Raj Kundra in an alleged Porn production racket saying that he refused to cooperate in the probe.

The police told Bombay High Court, where Raj Kundra has challenged his arrest, that he refused to accept the notice sent to him regarding the probe.

In its affidavit in the high court, the police have stated that Kundra held a British passport and was an Overseas Citizen of India. It added that Kundra and his IT Technician Ryan Thorpe started deleting WhatsApp messages thereby tampering and causing evidence to disappear.

Actor Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has been arrested for his alleged role in production and distribution of porn movies.
