Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Wednesday said that he has written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to investigate the malpractices allegations levelled against him by former Mumbai Police chief Param Bir Singh. Deshmukh shared the letter on his twitter handle.

Former Police Commissioner of Mumbai had written a letter to Thackeray alleging that Deshmukh had indulged in "malpractices" and asked suspended Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze to collect ₹ 100 crore every month.

Cornering the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, BJP leaders led by former CM Devendra Fadnvais met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari on Wednesday and said that the Uddhav-led govt has lost the moral right to remain in power.
