Processed meat may increase risk of breast cancer

According to a study conducted by scientists from Harvard University, eating processed meat like bacon and sausages may increase the risk of breast cancer. The study, published in the International Journal of Cancer, showcased that women who ate processed meat were at a 9% greater risk of breast cancer than others. However, the review, which is based on a number of studies including data from more than a million women, has some limitations as the definition of 'high consumption' differs.
