PSG's Neymar out for 6-8 weeks with sprained left ankle

Paris Saint Germain's Neymar will not play for atleast 6-8 weeks due to an injury in his ankle, said the French club on Monday. 

The Brazilian footballer sprained his left ankle during PSG's 3-1 win over St Etienne on Sunday. The 29-year-old who was taken off on a stretcher during the match also tore a ligament in the same ankle, the French league leaders further informed.

The club also said that a new assessment will be made after 72 hours to specify the recovery.
