Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was laid to rest on Sunday morning at the Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru.
Puneeth Rajkumar's family members, friends, political leaders were all present for hisfinal rites. At least 10 lakh people paid their homage to the superstar at the Kanteerava Stadium before his mortal remains were taken to the studio where he was laid to rest next to his parents, Dr Rajkumar and Parvathamma Rajkumar.

The actor, who was also known among his loved ones as ‘Appu’ and ‘Yuvarathnaa’, died on Friday after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 46.
Puneeth won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for his role of Ramu in Bettada Hoovu (1985). He also won the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist for his performances in Chalisuva Modagalu and Yeradu Nakshatragalu.
