Qatar rolls out its first metro for public

Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, host country Qatar opened its first-ever metro line. The full metro network will consist of three lines spread across 37 stations and cover more than 70 kilometres of Doha upon completion by 2020. Some of the first passengers were seen riding the Doha Metro's Red Line South, that mainly runs underground across the capital.
