Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to entertain clutch of petitions demanding investigations into the tractor rally violence in Delhi on Republic Day. The Supreme court allowed petitioners to file representation before the government.

Supreme Court also dismissed another PIL seeking direction to the media not to declare farmers as 'terrorists' without any evidence.

The farmers’ tractor rally turned violent on January 26th after protesters broke barricades and entered Delhi. Protesters also breached the Red Fort and hoisted a religious flag at the fort.
