Rahul Dravid appointed as the head coach of India's men's team

As expected, Rahul Dravid was appointed as the head coach of India's senior men's team on Wednesday night. The former India skipper will take the charge from the upcoming home series vs New Zealand.

Dravid will replace Ravi Shastri, whose tenure ends after the T20 World Cup in UAE. The BCCI congratulated Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and batting coach Vikram Rathour on a successful tenure. After his appointment, Dravid said having worked closely with most of the boys either at NCA, U19 and India A setup, he knows they have the passion and desire to improve every day.
