Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday led a delegation of opposition MPs to Jantar Mantar where farmers have been protesting against the new farm laws.

The group of MPs boarded a bus from Parliament and joined the protesting farmers who have been holding a parallel Kisan Sansad at Jantar Mantar to put pressure on the govt to repeal the new laws.

Leaders of DMK, RJD, NCP among others joined the farmers and raised slogans against the Modi and demanded that laws be repealed.

Farmers have been protesting for over eight months now at the Delhi borders.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had driven a tractor to Parliament last week to raise the issue of new laws and express solidarity with farmers.
