The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday allowed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to meet the family of 19-year-old Dalit girl who died at a Delhi hospital after being alleged gangraped and assaulted by four upper caste men in her village. The brother-sister duo will be accompanied by three other Congress leaders. On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi along with several party leaders and workers were detained by the police and sent back to Delhi, after they tried to reach Hathras to meet the family of the Dalit woman.
