Rajasthan: 38 women, kids kidnapped by 100 men, rescued

At least 38 women and children, who were kidnapped by about 100 men from a village in Rajasthan, were rescued by the police on Wednesday. Police said that abut 100 men armed with swords and other weapons had kidnapped woman and children from the Baaman Devariya village of Jhalwar in Rajasthan. The kidnappers came from the Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh and six have been detained and weapons have been recovered from them, the police, adding that efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused.
