Megastar Rajinikanth was admitted to a Chennai hospital for routine health check-ups on Thursday evening. His office informed that the legendary actor's health is fine and he has been admitted to some check-ups.
The 70-year old actor was in Delhi days ago to receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He had also visited President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital before returning to Chennai on Wednesday.
The veteran actor, who used to work as a bus conductor before entering film industry, dedicated the Dadasaheb Phalke Award to his old bus driver friend, who suggested that he join films.
In July this year, Rajinikanth dissolved his outfit Rajini Makkal Mandram and quit politics citing health worries.
