Facebook has reportedly removed 16,000 accounts on the platform for selling or buying fake reviews of products and services. According to the UK's Competition and Markets Authority, the social media firm has also made further changes to detect, remove and prevent misleading content on both Facebook and Instagram. The move comes as a result of a crackdown by the UK competition watchdog on fraudulent reviews on e-commerce platforms.
