Reports: TSMC says global chip shortage will continue in 2022

According to reports, chipmaker TSMC has said the global chip shortage will likely carry on into 2022. TSMC makes chips for Apple and Qualcomm, and says that supplies will be tight despite expanding capacity and manufacturing facilities. However, the firm still believes that the chip shortage for its automobile clients will be greatly reduced from the next quarter.
