Rescued crew member of sunk barge breaks down, 14 bodies found

A crew member of the Barge P305 broke down while speaking of Indian Navy's rescue operations. He was rescued by INS Kochi and brought to Mumbai.

A total of 184 of the 273 onboard P305 have been rescued so far. 14 dead bodies have been recovered from the Arabian Sea after Barge P305 sank off Mumbai coast. Search and rescue operations are still going on.
Battling extreme weather, the Indian Navy and Coast Guard have so far rescued at least 320 people on board two barges that went adrift in the Arabian Sea near Mumbai hours before Cyclone Tauktae made landfall on the Gujarat coast.

Three barges and an oil rig with 707 personnel on board had gone adrift on Monday.
