Rockstar announces Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, a remaster of old titles

Rockstar Games has announced that it will release remastered versions of three popular titles--Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

Named Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy -- The Definitive Edition, the games will be offered on Sony PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Rockstar Games has not revealed an official release date yet, but iOS and Android versions will also be offered in the first half of 2022.

The remaster is in honour of Grand Theft Auto III completing its 20th anniversary.
