Samsung claims top spot in India’s smartwatch market

Samsung has emerged as India’s biggest smartwatch manufacturer for Q2 2021, according to market research firm IDC’s Wearable Device Tracker.

Samsung’s smartwatch shipments showed 860% YoY growth, and the company grabbed 41.2% market share in the smartwatch market.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 series is up for pre-booking in India, and will be up for sale on September 10. The Galaxy Watch 4 starts at ₹23,999, while the Watch 4 Classic is priced starting ₹31,999.
