Samsung during a Pre-CES 2021 virtual event introduced a whole new display technology, Neo QLED, to its flagship 8K QN900A and 4K QN90A models. The new displays use Quantum Mini LED as a next-generation light source. Furthermore, Neo QLED benefits from Samsung’s proprietary Neo Quantum Processor which enhances upscaling capabilities. By using up to 16 different neural network models, the processor can optimize video quality to 4K and 8K picture output regardless of the input quality. Both Neo QLED 8K and 4K models offer smart features such as Samsung Health, Super Ultrawide GameView, Google Duo and PC on TV mode.
