J&K police recovered an improvised explosive device from the state's border district of Rajouri on Saturday, officials said.
The IED was found under a large drainage pipe on Jammu-Rajouri national highway and was subsequently defused by the bomb disposal squad of the Army, according to the officials.

The traffic on the vital road remained suspended for over three hours after the detection of the IED by the Road Opening Party of the security forces, they said.
A massive search operation is on to arrest the militants who were planning to carry out the explosion.
