Security lapse at Rashtrapati Bhawan, 'drunk' couple tries to drive in

There was a major security lapse at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Monday night. Delhi Police have arrested a couple after they allegedly attempted to enter the residence of President Ram Nath Kovind in their car, news agency ANI has reported.

According to reports, the couple had entered the Rashtrapati Bhawan late at night and were held by the security personnel posted there.

They were interrogated by a joint team of central agencies and Delhi police.

Reports said that the couple were drunk when they entered the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
