Sena’s move to remove illegal lingerie mannequins

In Maximum city, the law panel of civic body BMC, has passed a ruling which calls for cancellation of shop licenses if the owners don’t remove illegal lingerie mannequins. Claiming that women know where to buy lingerie and that there is no need to advertise, Shiv Sena leader and the head of BMC’s law panel there are places in the city where mannequin busts are hanging on tree branches with lingerie. In 2013, Sena corporator Ritu Tawde had demanded the removal of mannequins at lingerie shops in the city.
