The wedding season in North India is all set to commence from November 15 and there are an estimated 25 lakh weddings in just one month between 14 November-13 December.
With restrictions on gatherings easing across the country onlookers are expecting a big bang return of the the great Indian wedding season. Several states have allowed 250 people at weddings. In Delhi, the number has been capped at 200, but authorities have 50% capacity restrictions in parts of NCR. In Mumbai, too, venues are allowed to operate at 50% capacity. Rajasthan is allowing 200 guests.

Traders association CAIT is estimating that weddings are likely to generate business worth ₹3 lakh crore in just one month. The national capital alone as per traders is likely to see business worth ₹50,000 crore being generated.
