Amid a heated confrontation between West Bengal govt and Delhi in the run-up to the next year's Assembly polls, home minister Amit Shah will visit the state for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday. The buzz is that former Trinamool strongman Suvendu Adhikari joining the BJP will be the highlight of Shah's trip. Adhikari quit Mamata's party on Thursday. Shah is scheduled to hold a rally in Adhikari's turf in Midnapore on Saturday afternoon. Apart from the likely big ticket acquisition, the home minister will visit local temples and lunch with locals and farmers. He will also hold a roadshow in Birbhum and visit the Visva Bharati University.
