In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old tribal man was allegedly thrashed by eight persons who then tied him to a truck with a rope and dragged him some distance. The gruesome incident took place in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch district, police said on Saturday, adding five accused were arrested.

The tribal, identified as Kanhaiyalal Bheel, died during treatment at the Neemuch district hospital on Friday. The incident occurred on Thursday morning after a minor road accident involving the victim and a milkman who was riding a motorcycle.
According to reports, the milkman called his friends after a little skirmish with Bheel. They then beat him up and then tied him to a truck. The video of the heinous incident is being circulated on social media.
All the eight accused have been charged with murder and under the SC/ST (prevention of atrocities) Act, police said.
