The European Space Agency recently launched a study to understand the effects of space travel on the female body.

20 women will be a part of this study, named VIVALDI, where they will be tucked in waterbeds with minimal movement of their limbs.

This process is called dry immersion and creates situations similar to living in space as they experience supportlessness and weightlessness.
