SpaceX reports 132 cases of Covid-19 at rocket factory in California that employs 6000

Amid a large, active outbreak Elon Musk backed SpaceX has reported at least 132 cases of Covid-19 in it's California rocket fatcory where nearly 6000 workers are employed.  SpaceX is currently facing a heavy load of work and shifts as 
the company has had four launches this month.

This the second outbreak reported at the rocket facility. Back in March 2020, 12 employees at the same facility had to be sent home after two confirmed COVID-19 cases at the location.

On Sunday, Los Angeles County logged its third consecutive day with more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile US authorities have confirmed that over 73% of all new cases of Covid are from the highly transmissible Omicron variant.
