Indian Railways is starting the operations of 80 more special trains from September 12. Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) would run four special trains. These are the Guwahati-Bangalore Express, Dibrugarh-Amritsar Express, Awadh Assam from Dibrugarh to Lalgarh (this would ply daily) and the Agartala – Deoghar Express (Weekly). Booking for all the special trains would open from September 10. The Railways are already running 230 trains. NF Railways Public Relations Officer and spokesperson spoke exclusively to Sentinel Assam.
