Australia have retained the Ashes after thrashing England by an innings and 14 runs in the third Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
England came to the ground on Day 3 needing a miracle but they ran into Aussie pacer Scott Boland who had a dream debut taking the cheapest debut five-for in Test history.
The visitors resumed their second innings from the overnight score of 31-4 and Starc provided Australia the first breakthrough of the day as he castled Ben Stokes early.
England never recovered from that strike and the remaining wickets fell like a house of cards. Debutant Boland did the maximum damage and returned with the figures of six wickets for seven runs as the Three Lions were bundled out for mere 68 runs even before the lunch break.
Australia have now taken a 3-0 lead in the 5-match Test series and retained the Ashes with 2 matches still to go.
