Days after becoming the first Indian to score a double hundred in England's One-Day-Cup, Prithvi Shaw has been ruled out of the domestic competition.

The Indian opening batter who was playing for Northamptonshire, injured his knee while fielding during the game against Durham. Scans suggested that the injury was worse than initially expected, thus ruling him out midway.

Shaw had scored 429 runs in 4 innings at a whopping average of 143 in the competition so far. He was also the highest run-getter of the season.
