The Gujarat Titans head coach said that Arshdeep Singh would have been his first choice but India should now continue with Avesh unless there is a drastic change in conditions.
Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep took 10 wickets in 14 matches in IPL 2022 and he had the second-best death-overs economy rate (7.58) of any bowler with at least 8 overs in the season.
The former Indian player further added, “India should learn from the defeat in the first game and move to the second one without panicking much."
