Marnus Labuschagne, who started the Ashes series as the number 1 Test batter, was left frustrated after the Birmingham Test.
He fell for a golden duck and then for just 13 in the two innings respectively. Ahead of the 2nd Test at Lord's, Labuschagne said that he had to go away and ask himself the question of why he had to play those deliveries.
However, he said that he is now focused on the 2nd Test.
'I did walk through the Long Room and just before, as we were coming down to the nets, that pulled back a few memories. I was saying to myself, walking through that last time now, and no one knew who I was and people were sort of giving me a quiet clap just because it was like they were expecting Steve (Smith) to walk through,' he added.
