Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the fifth and final Ashes test against England due to a side strain.

The 30-year-old fast bowler sustained the injury in the 1st Test at the Gabba and has been sidelined since then. Australia head coach Justin Langer, however, expects Hazlewood to be back in action in the one-day home series against New Zealand later this month.

The Aussies didn't miss Hazlewood as Jhye Richardson and Scott Boland impressed with their performances in his absence.
