After becoming India's second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket, Ravichandran Ashwin reckoned that next-generation bowlers can forget about taking 1000 International wickets like Shane Warne.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Ashwin paid tribute to the Australian legend and said that Warne was the flagbearer of spin bowling and introduced the various aspects of spin to the cricketing world.

He added that taking 1000 international wickets is a rare feat and not many can achieve this rare feat.
"The volume of Test cricket will come down drastically and also because so many leagues, workload management will take centre stage," said Ashwin.
Warne took 1001 wickets in International cricket before he retired. Meanwhile, Ashwin is only behind Anil Kumble's 619 wickets in Test cricket for India.
