Another blockbuster Super Sunday is on the cards as India and Pakistan will once again lock horns in the ongoing Asia Cup. Finishing their Group games on a high, the 2 neighbours will now face each other in the much-anticipated Super 4 clash at the Dubai International Stadium.

India, though, secured the top spot in Group A after winning against Pakistan and Hong Kong, none of their victories came by easily. The worrisome form of the right-hand heavy top-order against the lethal Pakistani bowlers will be the biggest cause of concern for the Rohit Sharma-led side. As much as the cautious approach of the openers needs to be fixed, Avesh Khan’s bowling in the death overs also needs to be checked.

The Men in Blue will be without their ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who came in handy against Pakistan in their last match; Axar Patel will likely replace him in the playing XI. Hardik Pandya, the crucial cog in India’s 5-wicket win against Pakistan will definitely be back in the Playing XI after missing a game against Hong Kong. With Jadeja missing, it will be interesting to see, who will be rested to make space for the ace-all-rounder.

On the other hand, Pakistan will be high on confidence after demolishing Hong Kong and registering a 155-run win. Pakistan opener Rizwan, however, pointed out that a win like that, will not be of much importance against India. ‘Every India-Pakistan match feels like a final match to everyone’, he said.

Shahnawaz Dahani's absence will be a body blow for Pakistan's fast-bowling unit, which is already missing the service of Shaheen Shah Afridi. As per PCB, Dahani has been ruled out of Super 4s due to a side strain.
