Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 Points Table  : After the three matches of the 2022 Asia Cup Super 4 stage, Sri Lanka are somewhat confirmed their place in the final as they have won two matches. 

Defending champions India are perilously close to elimination after a six-wicket defeat against Sri Lanka in their super four stage match of the Asia Cup on September 6.

The result left the Men in Blue at the mercy of the other teams to have a chance of making it to the final. 

If Pakistan win their Super 4 clash against Afghanistan on September 7 then India will be knocked out of the tournament.

SUPER 4 MATCH 3, IND vs SL: WHAT HAS HAPPENED

Sri Lanka beat India by six wickets in their Asia Cup Super 4 match here on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka chased down a target of 174 with one ball to spare. Kusal Mendis top-scored with 57 while his opening partner Pathum Nissanka and Dasun Shanaka contributed 52 and 33 not out respectively.

For India, Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets for 34 runs while Ravichandran Ashwin got one. Invited to bat, India posted 173 for eight with captain Rohit Sharma top-scoring with a 72 off 41 balls while Suryakumar Yadav contributed 34.

For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka (3/24), Chamika Karunaratne (2/27) and Dasun Shanaka (2/26) were the main wicket takers.

SUPER 4 MATCH 2, IND vs PAK: What has happened

Pakistan beat India by five wickets in their Super 4 game of the Asia Cup here on Sunday.

Chasing 182 for a win, Pakistan overhauled the target with one ball to spare.

Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 71 off 51 balls while Mohammad Nawaz chipped in with 42 as Pakistan reached 182 for 5 in 19.5 overs.

For India, all the bowlers -- Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravi Bishnoi, Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal -- took a wicket apiece.

Invited to bat, India posted 181 for 7. Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 60 off 44 balls, while KL Rahul and captain Rohit Sharma contributed 28 apiece.

For Pakistan, Shadab Khan picked up two wickets for 31 runs, while Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz took a wicket each.

SUPER 4, MATCH 1: SL vs AFG: What has happened

Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan by four wickets in their Super 4 match of the Asia Cup on Saturday (September 3).

Sri Lanka chased down the target of 176 with five balls to spare with useful contributions from Kushal Mendis (36), Pathum Nissanka (35), Danushka Gunathilaka (33) and Bhanuka Rajapaksa (31).

For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Naveen-ul-Haq took two wickets apiece.

Earlier, put in to bat, Afghanistan scored 175 for 6 with opener and wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scoring with a 45-ball 84 while Ibrahim Zadran contributed 40.

For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka took two wickets while Maheesh Theekshana and Asitha Fernando got one each.
