2016 Asia Cup
The 2016 edition was the first time the tournament was played in the T20 format. India produced a fantastic bowling display to bowl the Men in Green out for just 83. But things looked rather bleak when Mohd Amir had India on the mat at 8/3. But cometh the hour, cometh the man! And Virat Kohli once again saved the day for India with an invaluable 49-run knock in tough conditions.

2004 Asia Cup
A young Shoaib Malik was the star of the show when Pakistan beat India by 59 runs back in 2004. The all-rounder first helped Inzamam-ul-Haq's side pile on 301 runs on the board before his 2/42 helped restrict the Men in Blue to 241/8 despite a 78-run knock from Sachin Tendulkar

2018 Asia Cup
14 years after his heroics against India, Shoaib Malik was Pakistan's top-scorer once again in their Super Four clash. But this time his 78 just wasn't enough as Sarfraz Ahmed's side could only garner 237 runs from their 50 overs. In reply, the Indian openers made a mockery of the total - Rohit & Dhawan both scored hundreds as India cruised to a 9-wicket win.
