Pakistan began their Asia Cup Super Four with a bang as the Men in Green beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in front of a packed Gaddafi Stadium on August 6.
Opting to bat first, the Bangla Tigers who were without their star batter Najmul Shanto, didn't get off to the best start as opener Mehidy Hasan got out for a golden duck courtesy of a Naseem Shah delivery.
The visitors eventually got bowled out for a paltry 193 in the end with Haris Rauf leading the bowling pack with four wickets on the day.
In reply, Pakistan went with a different opening duo of Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-haq which didn't go according to the plan as Fakhar Zaman got dismissed at just 20 runs.
Imam topscored for the hosts with 78 runs however, it was Mohd Rizwan whose resilient knock of 63 runs steered Pakistan to victory in the end.
