Fans have waited for ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah's return with bated breath. While he is set to lead India in the Ireland series, he will likely be named for the Asia Cup as well. Although the 29-year-old is a formidable force in the cricket world, Pakistan batsman Abdullah Shafiq thinks otherwise.
During a media interaction the 23-year-old was asked about facing India's strongest fast bowler in the Asia Cup, Shafiq responded by saying that he has faith in his net sessions where he has faced the likes of Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf. He feels that if the Pakistani batters are playing well against them then they'll remain confident when facing any bowler.
India and Pakistan will face each other on August 2 in the Asia Cup.
