Asia Cup 2023: Rohit and Gill steer Team India to Super Fours with 10 wicket win against Nepal

Team India have qualified for the Super Four after defeating Nepal by 10 wickets in the 5th match of Asia Cup 2023 on August 4.

Put to bat first, Nepal managed to score a healthy total of 230 runs in 48.2 overs with Aasif Sheikh top-scoring with 58 runs.

Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets each for the Men in Blue.

After rain interrupted the proceedings, Team India were given the target of 145 runs in 23 overs to win the match.

It was smooth sailing for India as openers Rohit Sharma (74*) and Shubman Gill (67*) steered the team to victory and joined Pakistan in the Super Four.
