BCCI: No first right of refusal for the existing IPL owners in Women's IPL

After the Annual General Meeting of the BCCI on Tuesday, the board has decided that there would be an auction for the five Women's IPL franchises and there would be no first right of refusal for the existing Indian Premier League (IPL) team owners.

The media auctions for the inaugural edition of the Women's IPL are reportedly set to take place on January 12. The tournament will be played before the Men's IPL and is said to take place from March 3-26 in Mumbai.
