BCCI unveils India's 2023-24 home season fixtures: 16 international matches scheduled to be played

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule and fixtures for India's 2023-24 home season, featuring a total of 16 international matches, including 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20Is.

The home season will kick off with a three-match ODI series against Australia, held in Mohali, Indore, and Rajkot, leading up to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. Following the World Cup, India will take on Australia in a five-match T20I series that begins on 23rd November in Vizag and concludes on 3rd December in Hyderabad.

In the new year, Afghanistan will tour India for their maiden white-ball bilateral tour, playing a three-match T20I series in Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru.

Test cricket action will then unfold as India lock horns with England in a Test series scheduled to begin on 25th January 2024. Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala will be the venues for the 5-match Test series.
