Dhruv Jurel not just left Indian fans impressed with his batting and wicketkeeping skills in the 2 Tests he has played but became a talking point in the English dressing room as well.

England captain Ben Stokes lavished praise on the youngster and during post-match press conference said, "Both innings he's played very well. His keeping was also something to watch - I think Ben Foakes has a little man crush on him there."

As KS Bharat failed to impress in the 12 Test innings he played, the Indian management handed Jurel his maiden Test cap in the 3rd Test in Rajkot.

While he scored a gritty 46 on debut, Jurel bailed India out of trouble in Ranchi with a 90 in the first innings. He then took the hosts over the finish line with a match-winning 39 not out in the 2nd innings.

The 23-year-old was also impressive behind the stumps and his run out of Ben Duckett caught many eyeballs.
