Brian Lara joins West Indies team as performance mentor

Cricket West Indies has roped in Brain Lara as a performance mentor to work with the West Indies international teams across formats as well as the board's academy. 

According to CWI, Lara's job will be to assist the various head coaches in providing players with tactical advice and improving their game sense.

The 52-year-old was recently part of a 3-member panel that reviewed West Indies' early exit from the T20 World Cup.
