Deepti Sharma certainly had a Midas touch in India women vs England women only Test in Mumbai as the visitors looked like clueless chickens against her golden arm.
In reply to India's 428 in the 1st innings, the women from England were bowled out for a mere 136 as Deepti spun her web of destruction.
She ended the innings with figures of 5 wickets for just 7 runs in 5.3 overs, that included 4 maidens. That splended performance helped her become the first bowler to achieve a 5-wicket haul in the fewest overs of a women's test innings. It helped India secure a massive 292-run lead.
Apart from her first fifer in Tests, Deepti had earlier impressed with the bat as well when she scored 67 runs.
